The kitchen project is growing very near to completion (if there is such a thing).  As you can see by the before and after pics, it’s been quite a transformation!  Thanks to lots of sanding, painting, and a nice contribution from Mom for a couple of appliances, it’s turning out very nice.

    The really fun work was the stuff you can’t see, like cutting a hole in the outside brick wall to vent the new microwave outside.  It was worth it to keep fish and bacon smell out of the house!  However, the neighbors always know what we’re having for dinner...
